Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) persons in the U.S. state of Ohio may face some legal challenges not experienced by non-LGBT residents. From 1982 to 1988, GEAR met at a board member's home in Ohio City before adopted the new name and buildings space as the Lesbian Gay Community Service Center on West 29th. Finally, in 2000, the most recent move was made to Gordon Square and our current name.
